The American Conservative is claiming it was not the CIA but instead the White House Office of Special Plans which falls under the DOD. However they claim that the DOD producing documents to lie to the American people is justified, while it would not be for the CIA. Ridiculous.

Everyone except r108 knows that those Niger documents were fake.

I hope this guy provides the evidence so that they give the bastards responsible a public spanking and we don't see this kind of manipulation again any time soon.

I saw the guys book at the bookstore. There were piles of them. I hope he's not just selling a book like those guys were selling a war.

Well, him and the Senate and House committees that already held numerous hearings regarding these same documents, plus the media that covered them, and the talk radio crowd that listened to the charges of forgery being discredited based on Congressional Committee reports...

So, of all the hearings that went on in Congress (not to mention the Scooter Libby trial), plus the fact that Clintonian CIA chief Tenet even said that the charges of forgery were a sham, you're going to believe a proven Bush/Cheney basher, or at least give him the benefit of the doubt that he's "not just selling a book"?

Clinton enabled 9/11, with his weak-kneed response to the '93 WTC bombing, looking the other way while AQ came to power in the Nineties and obstructing our intel community from sharing information that might have revealed the hijackers' plan. Furthermore, he cut and ran from Somalia, which emboldened OBL, and Clinton never replied to any of the many terrorist attacks during his reign.
