Say Anything: Slate: "Believing In Vote Fraud" May Be Dangerous For Democracy

  • The Whistler · 1 year ago
They are excusing fraud on the left by some mythical vote suppression on the right.

The fact is that someone voting illegally is the same as suppressing someone's vote. That is the illegal voter cancels out a voter on the other side.

The right's position on the matter: No Fraud, no suppression.

The left's is: All fraud all the time.

Every legal and honest vote should count. No felons, no dead people, no fictional people, no minors, no illegal aliens.

It's the race card. Played very subtlety.

If you support efforts to stop vote fraud, then clearly you want to suppress minority voters.

Typical liberal thinking (thats an oxymoron), lower the standards when it is to their benefit. Voter fraud is the biggest problem a democratic county can have. If the basics fundamentals of a Demcoracy are in question then the whole process will begin to collapse. Yet that is not a problem for the liberal elite. So long as we win, then it is okay to break the rules. What a smuck.........

C'mon. You know damn well there is a difference between voter registration fraud, blown up out of all proportion by the Republicans, and actual voting fraud. There has been no widespread actual voting fraud at polls as a result of those registrations.

The few cases of Acorn canvassers repeatedly registering the same person, even up to 72 times, are isolated examples which Republicans are trying dishonestly to extrapolate to the entire country and which, in any case, have little bearing on actual voting at the polls. How do we know that fraudulent registrations have been compiled by Acorn canvassers using names like Donald Duck, Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy, Mickey Mouse or whatever? We know this very simply because Acorn has brought them to the attention of voting officials when they submitted those registrations as required by law, after flagging them as fraudulent and firing the canvassers involved.

This is a hoax perpetrated repeatedly (2000, 2004, 2006, 2008) by the Republican Party just prior to elections. It is being debunked and Americans are seeing just how far (and low) the Republican Party will go to steal elections.

Last night I was watching Fox's Laura Ingraham, so obviously trying to distort the truth about ACORN, get flatly contradicted by constitutional lawyer and former prosecutor John Flannery:

Oswaldo....please explain to me why someone screwing around with the very core of what makes this country unique. The ability of each and every american to have a say in their government by being able to vote is small potatos. Presently no one knows if this has been widespread or not. The Democrats sure as hell haven't been checking in on it in the past. They are the one benefiting. And that makes it okay by them. Low standards. As the investigation continues, more and more is coming out on how people have been abusing the system. It has to be stopped, regardless of who does it.
I find it very, very offensive that ANY type of voter fraud being done by Republicans or Democrats are not taken to the woodshed and smacked around. You cannot allow people to think that any election can be rigged. Then people start believing that any election is false and do not back the winner. After all, things can change in 4 years. Wait, thats what the Democrats did with Bush these last few years. I can see how well they respond to anything since then. Having people stop believing in the system will slowly cause the decay we are seeing now in social manner and with the politicians working across party lines to get the business of the nation done.

    Questioning the American Bolshevik views
    1. Is wealth redistribution taking money from stockholders and redistributing it to those who don't pay taxes?
    2. Is it more important to make sure that illegal votes are not disenfranchised or making sure that groups like ACORN do not nullify honest votes.
    3. Would premature U.S. withdrawal from Iraq grand jihadists a victory and make all of our accomplishments, money spent and lives lost a big waist?
    4. Can this country afford to grant socialist Democrats total control of the government and allow them to sacrifice our safety by cutting the military budget by 25%?
Now comes the big question. How do we stop socialism from ruining our lives?
The answer is simple. Don't vote American Bolsheviks into power and boycott the socialist propaganda media into bankruptcy.
