They were driving in Channon's Toyota 4-Runner when they were carjacked at gunpoint. Suddenly the crime turned far more savage than an armed car theft.
Chris and Channon were kidnapped and driven to 2316 Chipman Street where they were forced into the home at gunpoint.
While Channon was forced to watch, her boyfriend was raped prison style and then his penis was cut off. He was later driven to nearby railroad tracks where he was shot and set afire.
But Channon's hell was just beginning. She was beaten; gang raped repeatedly in many ways, had one of her breasts cut off and bleach poured down her throat to destroy DNA evidence--all while she was still alive. To add to Channon's degradation the suspects took turns urinating on her. They too set her body afire, apparently inside the residence, but for some reason left her body there--in five separate trash bags.

I don't know what the heck Graves or Pparets or others are raging about regarding Hannitized. Mostly he engages in quite serious, rational, intelligent debate. Although, being a strong voice for the Left he is often attacked by most of us here for his views, so he naturally fights back, which is what any one of us would do in the same place. Yes, that fighting back by his own admission can sometimes make him sound like a butthead, me too and most of you qualify as well.
The truth is, we need and should welcome people here that are willing to passionately defend the Left, to help us form our own arguments against their views, to ease our frustrations by venting at someone else, to learn the thinking of those on the Left and for a host of other reasons they make a positive contribution to SAB. Otherwise, without someone like Hannitized, SAB would be nothing but conservatives talking to each other arguing about which song from the conservative hymnbook is best - which is really BORING!
We need Hannitized, not the wild eyed nutcases like RBB can often be at times, but the one thing that makes SAB really worthwhile is the really spirited debates of both sides of the issues of the day. We need to be forced to see the world through the view finder of those having a different vision of the world, it is reasoning together that makes it all so interesting and fun. Yes, we can get really irritated at times as Joel did, I often have, many others have and even that is good for our character. But, please remember Hannitized has the guts to often stand alone here to defend the Left and he gets smacked in the face by everyone else commenting here, that takes courage and commitment.
So, let us give the guy a break, even though his has strongly opposing views on many issues, even though like most of us he can be intemperate at times because he is so often under attack; but remember we do need Hanntized and people like him or SAB it will be a very dull Right Wing sewing circle and none of us will learn a damn thing.
As I said, I like Joel and share his views to a very great degree, but I like Hannitized as well and if you don't want me liking and respecting both of them ->

It is so easy to classify people as being one thing or another, I know I have been thus negatively labeled by almost everyone at SAB, then we can write down dirty little names for them, tuck those names safely away in our pockets to bring out when needed. It makes it so much easier to reject them that way, to only see them as the dirty little words we have chosen for them, rather than open our minds and see them as whole people of worth.
I guess you are right though, what we don't want or need is anyone at SAB having different opinions than our own, who might disagree with us on this issue or that; or worse, anyone who might defend themselves with passion when attacked. Oops! I forgot, when it is a regular, front page conservative contributor speaking it is never an attack it is only an attack when the other guy is speaking. Sorry! I forgot the rules.
As a conservative, I have often been where Hannitized is now in several ways: (1) When attacked and having dared defend what I really meant, I have been viciously pounced on by the regular Front Page Contributors and others. So, I feel for Hannitized when he is not allowed any errors or differences, but is set upon by ravenous sharks at every turn. (2) I too have lost my temper and used less than kind language, when faced with what I believed were unfair attacks by Front Page Contributors and others. So, I am more understanding when others like Hannitized behave less civily at some times and are treated like scum. (3) I too have felt alone in defending my beliefs, against some rather rabid, foaming at the mouth conservatives here, even Front Page Constributors. It is hard to fight off a mad dog pack when you are alone, because you cannot argue against one of them to get your point across, you must defend yourself against multiple, often hate filled adversaries, all barking and biting at different parts of my anatomy, not because they are right, but because they have a lust for blood. So, I feel a certain kinship, even with a Liberal, when they are under pack attacks.
I will not alter my views one iota, I think Hannitized is good for SAB, he has much to offer and while I most often disgagree with his views, I respect his right to have differing views, to defend his views and make a contribution to the debate. Otherwise, let us just have Proof, Rob and Whistler debate, and shut out any other comments to keep the conservative race and thought pure not profaned by naysayers, especially if we find them unpleasant.
I am beginning to see how unChristian conservativism really is, while they can talk a good game, even a moral game, there seems to be an almost complete absence of compassion, simple charity or any desire to understand their neighbors.

The truth is, we need and should welcome people here that are willing to passionately defend the Left, to help us form our own arguments against their views, to ease our frustrations by venting at someone else, to learn the thinking of those on the Left and for a host of other reasons they make a positive contribution to SAB. As a conservative, I have often been where Hannitized is now in several ways: (1) When attacked and having dared defend what I really meant, I have been viciously pounced on by the regular Front Page Contributors and others. So, I feel for Hannitized when he is not allowed any errors or differences, but is set upon by ravenous sharks at every turn. (2) I too have lost my temper and used less than kind language, when faced with what I believed were unfair attacks by Front Page Contributors and others. So, I am more understanding when others like Hannitized behave less civily at some times and are treated like scum. (3) I too have felt alone in defending my beliefs, against some rather rabid, foaming at the mouth conservatives here, even Front Page Constributors. It is hard to fight off a mad dog pack when you are alone, because you cannot argue against one of them to get your point across, you must defend yourself against multiple, often hate filled adversaries, all barking and biting at different parts of my anatomy, not because they are right, but because they have a lust for blood. So, I feel a certain kinship, even with a Liberal, when they are under pack attacks.
I will not alter my views one iota, I think Hannitized is good for SAB, he has much to offer and while I most often disgagree with his views, I respect his right to have differing views, to defend his views and make a contribution to the debate.
