Interestingly, millions of people have been killed in so-called peacetime--for example the Ukrainian famine and collectivisation by Stalin--some say about 10 million or more died at the dictate of Stalin. No shooting, no bombs dropped, no trench warfare--kind of what passes for peacetime. Then comes Chairman Mao--he may hold the record--all in peacetime of the late 40's and early 50's. Ah yes, Peace. It may not be the end of killing.
Of course, even funnier were those peace protesters a short while back, that painted the three pointed Mercedes Benz star as their "peace symbol" and couldn't tell the difference!

It's worth noting that these commercial tags are NOT related to the trademarked PeaceTags (www.peacetags.com), which are a similar products (sterling silver dog tags with messages of peace) whose entire net goes to benefit non-profits helping veterans & their families.

Largely, people are quite ignorant about gold jewelry. Women love gold jewelry and are more taken with the design of the jewelry than with its value. Most women only admire an engagement ring and the diamond in it. If the gold jewelry is a bracelet, a necklace or earrings, it's the design of the jewelry and how it looks that matters. The weight and purity of the gold does not matter. As long as it looks nice and is admired, it's deemed to be a good buy.pearl earrings
