Say Anything: Obama Does Something Right For A Change, Sends Troop Surge Into Afghanistan

  • Kay · 9 months ago
I agree, I do think he's doing the right thing in this situation... And I'm glad to see it.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is busy setting the groundwork for a war with them as they capitulate to the Taliban and continue their phony standoff against Islamic Supremacism.

This is not going anywhere good.

As far as the troop surge itself goes, I wonder how long he'll keep them there and through what upset. Should he order a cut and run at the first skinned knee, it will only embolden them and once that deluge happens, once the world gets the idea that we're weak, hell will follow with that retreat.

Yeah, Obama flipflops too much to be trusted.

We are just as wrong illegally occupying Afghanistan as we are illegally occupying Iraq. We miss the point because we have been misled by the Republicans/Democrats to believe that Bush's fake "war on terror" requires military action. President Obama, being a good Republican/Democrat, carries on his predecessor's agenda to the detriment of US.

Right, Rugby, better to sit behind our borders and pretend like we're safe.

What's the alternative? Endless war against an invisible enemy? Constant pre-emptive invasions? Kill everyone else in the world so the fear-filled conservatives can feel safe again?

No surprise that the only thing Obama critics approve of is more death and mayhem for other peoples' families.

    Sick. Very sick.

Wow, less than one week into his term? I guess that's what happens when you put an overachiever into the spot. Took Bush a year and a terrorist attack to start mass murdering people. I'll have to concede that Obama had the unfair advantage of starting off in not one but two illegal wars and fronts.

America will have to take back command of all operations in Afghanistan if there is going to be any improvement in the situation. The stupid assed idea pushed by the Democrats and Euroleftards has totally failed, NATO and EU have completely fucked the dog in their tenure as commanders of operations there.

Just yesterday, Wisconsin deployed 3,200 from the Red Arrow 32nd combat brigade to Iraq. I guess Obama is fighting a war on two fronts just like "W".

I hope we went into Afghanistan only to kill bin Laden and the Taliban. Because it would be stupid to go into that country and try to set up a democracy. Those people are ungovernable.

This shuffling of troops Obama is doing is not good. How effective are worn out troops from Iraq going to be in Afghanistan? They were asked to do too much in Iraq and now they're being sent into Afghanistan. Obama does not have the mental capacity to understand things like mission and duty and timelines he is just an instant gratification type. America's military is really being USED. It's a shame.

Since Obama lies about everything with impunity, how will we really know that he doesn't mean withdraw 17,000 troops.

Obama's jive talking, after all, is just talking in a flood of lies and hoping that no one notices.

We replaced one chimpy with another chimpy, the new one is nowhere near as smart as the original. How else do you justify the man behind the curtain is needed to relay press conference answers to the arrogant one. Why not make the press conference into a Obama-Oprah Show and hand out the answers to questions later.

No wonder Obama didn't hold any real Q&A during the campaign.

The Russians took ten years to learn this lesson in the 80s. We, apparently, are only in year 7... three to go, three to go.
