The Obama administration will guide many people and companies into bankruptcy.

Obama and his fellow travelers hate the concept of private transportation. They want everyone herded into mass transportation so their movements can be easily controlled.

Obama guiding them into bankruptcy sounds like a description of anal sex and that will be for all intents and purposes the effective action on the stockholders, employees, and consumers.

I think Obama should first start out selling used cars and then see how that goes.

Does anyone think there is anyone in the Obama administration that knows what they are doing about anything? Including ZERO himself.
  • Zsa Zsa · 7 months ago
bill, I get the feeling no one in the big Zero administration knows anything about getting US out of an economic crisis or economic matters. Although they seem to know quite a bit about Socialism, spending and mismanaging money.

and it will be a plug car in that costs twice as much as a gas vehicle that the builders produce at a loss.

I suppose they can't save them all, but sometimes it is hard to know which ones to save Chysler is a huge firm but can they afford to let too many large companies like this go out of business.

the electric cars that look like a rickshaw will not sell it will be the death knell for all three except Ford they chose not to get in bed with Obama . Chrysler did insist on building their one item that makes money and that is the jeep SUV, And yeah we should hang all the retirees for destroying the economy it was the worst thing they did was accept the free beer and lunch from the poor company that could not afford it , most of them are 65 years old and I would like to see them out on the street begging and no insurance at all because they are the reason that the big three failed and it had nothing to do with the desire to spend money on things that made no money, ideas to build a 150,000 dollar motor cycle that no one except Jay Leno could afford . It had nothing to do with people not buying the cars because they lost confidence in buying them because of the 4 dollar gas , had nothing to do with it. So I think they should go to jail for accepting these unsustainable benefits. 19,200.00 a year including benefits yeah that is way to much to get . and then we should stop them from getting social security also they don't need it any way, they probable have barrels of fifty dollar bills all over their mansions they live in.

A large contributing factor in a recession is a lack of confidence from the general sector. This is a direct reflection on obama. Back in late October, Americans pulled $550 million dollars out of the banks in fear of obama winning the election. Most of this capitol has not been reinvested. Meanwhile unemployment continues to rise. Enterprise is being cautious because no one knows specifically where obama is headed with his Marxist agenda.

The UAW has taken Chrysler into the bankruptcy. Worst is the idea of paying former workers' health care and pensions. (as opposed to defined benefits).

But still the workers have every right to demand priority in bankruptcy proceedings over any stockholders claim.

However they aren't without fault themselves. There is NO justification that I and other taxpayers should be stuck paying for those bills.

I've got my own family's medical bills to pay for and my own retirement to save for.

The slackers that retired at 55 years old can go back to work.

Why shouldn't he guide them... he's doing such a fine job with the US Economy! We're going downhill, but our CONgress is not feeling the same pain!

Does this mean that government is going to back the legacy costs built up by the unions?
