TSA Puts Secret Security Manual On-line
Phelps has run in numerous Democratic primary elections for governor of the predominantly Republican state of Kansas, in 1990, 1994, and the last time in 1998,
In the 1980s, the Phelps family were strong political allies with then-senator Al Gore.
That's from Wikpedia by the way. He also hates Scandahoovians which doesn't bobther me a bit.
The Fred Phelps nutjobs are in no way supported by any Republicans. In fact they are soundly denounced.
Much of what I'd call extreme positions are supported by the Democrat party.
Fred Phelps <a href="http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/article.jsp?sid=184">is</a> <a href="http://www.motherjones.com/news/feature/1999/03/lauerman.html">a</a> <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rev._Fred_Phelps">democrat</a>, MI.
(Three different links. Including the Southern Poverty Law Center and Mother Jones, just in case Wikipedia is too Right Wing to be trusted. It is commonly stated, by local residents, that he's a registered Democrat as well, but that information doesn't seem to be easily confirmable online.)
He's crazy. He's an ass. But he's not a Right Wing Conservative. Sorry.
Just because you (and probably I) would disagree with this group doesn't mean we'd have a right to keep them from prosecuting.
It's also not right to smear them as being associated with the Nazi's.
(The last thing I'd want to see here is some kind of theorcracy. However if they're calling for prayer in school I would generally think that's ok. (Not important but ok). I'm making the distiction because I don't know what the group really wants. I only know that the news is portraying them as wanting to tear down the wall between church and state. That can mean quite a few things.
I really don't think it is INTOLERANCE I think it might be case of being protective of young minds. I mean haven't enough lives been ruined by teaching kids that a women had a baby with NO SEX and then he was raised and then he was all of a sudden the SON OF GOD! (whew, how cool is that) He could fly and levitate, walk on water and hang out with 12 other guys but homosexuality is a sin. And he had an invisible father who wanted him to suffer a slow and agonizing "death" so he could then rise up again and FLY up to be with his father in HEAVEN(apparently a gaited community as PETER sits at the gate and makes sure no UNDESIRBALES get in) but leave his mom here on earth! LOL I mean anyone with an SAT score of 500 can see this is all bullshit designed to inflict weak people with guilt and sexual hangups. If christains are so happy and "can't wait to go meet their god" maybe a nice little trip to JONESTOWN would be in order. Just because some closet pervs with an apparent affection for little boys keep repeating the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER that doesn't make it become truth. Oh by the way nice job on protecting the "sanctity of divorce!"
average number of times a "christian" gets married.................3! LOL(whata bunch of pukes)
You seem threatened by people of fairth Skeeter.
Some people never get married.
Many people only marry on time (and once is enough <img /> How many times to you have to touch the hot store?
About as many people marry twice.
Some marry three times.
Very few folks marry over three times. HOllywood isn't real life Skeeter.
I would imagine the real average is something like 1.3 of 1.4. Certainly this is far away from the 3 times you're trying to claim. Did you make this figure up or did you copy it from someone who made it up?
Back to the topic, I'd suggest that the one who did this would do well to take a look at the 9th Commandment, which forbids false witness--as do numerous other passages in the Scriptures.
BTW, not only is Phelps not right-wing, he's also said to have stopped picketing funerals--perhaps not entirely coincidentally as groups of bikers got together to make sure that protesters didn't violate military funerals.
Sorry about my typing there. Just wasn't my post I guess.
AS for as the rest of the points there either your believe or you don't.
