Excellent post. Our site, the News Lampoon, will not be censored by threats from terrorists. That is why we have made "Fitna" available for our readers. While we understand why Live Leak caved in to these threats, we applaud Google for picking up the banner of freedom and making "Fitna" accessible to us and others. The News Lampoon does not believe that "Fitna" is completely accurate in every aspect of its portrayal of Islam, but, in spite of its faults, we believe "Fitna" to be an important film. Besides all that, we don't like people we don't respect trying to tell us what to do. The News Lampoon is militantly anti-censorship.
We have to be "tolerant" to the religious who have stated that they will kill us.
Islam is a protected victim class. They have been "oppressed" and this said oppression makes them unique in history.
Just ask the Europeans. Just ask the American Democrats. They'll tell you. You can't bring up the evils of modern day Islam without the Europeans and the American Democrats bringing up the evils of long ago Christianity as if they somehow compared to what we have to deal with today. They do this because 1. they have no sense of history or relevance and 2. Christianity isn't one of the protected victim classes.

Civilization, a law-based system of discussion and compromise, is facing its greatest, and oldest foe: Tribalism. The Mob and Islam are tribal at their core: they kill anyone that stands against them, they kill those inside their tribe who break the tribal rules, especially traitors, but they will not allow any outsider to hurt a single member of their tribe in any way.
