Say Anything: Gallup: Obama Has Upper Hand in Stimulus Fight

One might note that upper hand is gaged by the propensity of his plan to work, rather it is gaged on the continuing repugnance of anything Republican. Bummer.

Now, if you had to put hard money on this, What would you bet it goes UP or DOWN from here.

Oh, Obama will get his bill. And doom himself to one-term Obama Carter II.

Life as we knew it is over and it's squarely on the shoulders of the same people who voted him in.

A new CBS News poll that came out today says support for the stimulus bill has dropped 12 points since January.
Slightly more than half the country approves of President Obama's $800 billion-plus stimulus package, a new CBS News poll finds. But support for the bill has fallen 12 points since January, and nearly half of those surveyed do not believe it will shorten the recession.

Fifty-one percent of those surveyed support the stimulus package, while 39 percent do not. An additional 10 percent don't know. Last month, 63 percent supported the package and just 24 percent opposed it.
Say, wasn't it the Republicans who wanted more tax cuts, less spending?

Stimulus fight? So much for working with Republicans. Oh who are we kidding anyway. Obama and the Democrats are going to ram this stimulus like a knife through America's heart. The only question is will the final figure be just under $1 trillion or just over $1 trillion. It's a disgrace and what's worse is how many people are misled and support Obama. There's going to be a lot of disappointnment for all of us for years to come.
