If North Dakota could eliminate the use of the judicial system to deal with pot and bad checks, my calendar would free up REAL quick.

He's also been treated for alcohol abuse.
What DOES bother me is that he presents himself as a person whose judgement is supposed to mean something.
I feel that his past judgement lapses should exclude him from the position he has.
Nor is stopping illegal activities called "good judgement".

Who holds Beckel in esteem for anything? That's one I've never heard before.

You are in error; I know that quite well, in addition to his regular appearances on Crossfire. It is because of my familiarity with him that I lack any respect or esteem for him. It's based on knowledge and facts, not ignorance.
