I think what really happened is that the Frenchies tried to surrender to Bin Laden, but OBL figured they'd be more of an hindrance if he sent them back to us.

The fact that its reported in Reuters makes me skeptical.

This report is probably false, but it is true that Clinton refused to give the order to take out OBL; we will see how the MSM reacts to this report, compared to how they reacted when Clinton let OBL off the hook.

Had Laden been killed, How can fight wars world over in his name???

Clearly, the only French people who know where he is are the ones who mail him his checks.

The plan, which the <font face=" Bookman Old Style" size=2>[color=springgreen][b]French DGSE[/b][/color]</font> foreign intelligence service became aware of earlier this year, is revealed in a secret report to the French government on threat levels.

The report, dated December 19, indicates that <font face=" Bookman Old Style" size=3>[color=lightblue][b]the tip-off came from the American CIA.[/b][/color]</font> British and French intelligence agencies have run a series of checks of the security system protecting the 31-mile tunnel but the threat level, the DGSE warns, remains high.
