Say Anything: Deepak Chopra on the Mumbai Terrorists

  • Gman · 1 year ago
Chopra is as big a part of the problem as the terrorists themselves, because by equating soldiers to terrorists, he diminishes the good vs evil component of the whole issue.

Most people know that the terrorists are manipulators and cowards, in the vane of bully's.

Just like bully's, when you stand up and punch them in the nose, they will let you alone.

    Just look at Mohamar Qaddafi.

We went in, took out his family, and hit him head on. What have you heard from him lately???

They are cowards in that they are using 2nd class citizens, in their eyes, to carry out their dirty work. Hence the rise in recruitment of women and developmentally disabled people to carry their suicide bombs. (Why don't we hear about that in the media?? I don't see the headlines, "Terrorists use retarded citizens to carry suicide bombs, and explode them with cell phones." in very many newspapers.)

I guess they can't find enough terrorists who want 72 virgins to carry the suicide bombs anymore. Either that or we have killed so many of them in Iraq and Afghanistan, that there aren't enough to go around.

Choppra is like the tip of a Politically Correct, passivest iceberg which dumbs down the conversation by not allowing us to use the descriptive words and phrases that best describe a situation, and by using words that are too strong for a given situation thereby lessening the effect of those words.

ie, when everything is awesome, nothing is.

His ilk are to be looked at with disdain, and taken for what they are, a sideshow.

He will sell a lot of books though, and I wonder where the money from the books goes?? Who does he donate to??

Who is this clown? And why is his open support for terrorism being tolerated?

    Big thumb up for Gman.

Chopra has a gift for playing to the weak minded and morally timid, and he statements show he is no friend of America. I'd love to see this con artist confronted with his contradiction that he makes millions selling peace and love and harmony, and he also gives an affirmative nod to assassins killing innocent / non-military targets and a means of making a political statement.

What more needs or can to be said about CNN for giving this pest a platform for spewing this hate? I don't believe in reincarnation, but if I did, Chopra's karma just kicked him down to coming back as a botulism cell - that way the world will see him for what he really is.

You can take your straw man argument, and your rationalization of terrorist acts, and fuck yourself with them, Deepak Chopra. Innocent lives lost, at the hands of "the other guy"?

    Sure...

Look how easy it is for the comfy Americans to judge the violent actions of others. While they go about their lives of cluelessness, their military is destroying generations of Iraq families on the other side of the world. But Americans are the good people so it's ok!

"Honey, let's take the kids to Chuckie Cheese while our military sends really expensive jets to drop bombs on those other peoples' kids half way around the world. Have you seen my blue Dockers?"

So the people we cavalierly attack lie in wait for the unsuspecting rich Americans staying at $500 a night hotels and shoot them. Want to know why? Because they have no expensive fighter jets to fly over us and destroy our children. Can you really blame them for their actions? I don't. Am I glad it happened? No more glad than seeing us destroy Iraqi lives. Which means no.

If you support the things America does with it's military might then by extension you support what happened in Mumbai.
  • robert108 · 1 year ago
If you support the things America does with it's military might then by extension you support what happened in Mumbai.
Pure insanity. Confusion of cause and effect, the mark of someone with no higher cortical function. This is the limbic system talking. The limbic system is also know as the "reptile brain"; pure emotional reactivity, no rational component.
I agree with EVERY comment from above. Chopra is a major idiot.
That's putting it nicely.

The moral equivalence argument has nothing to do with equivalence. It's saying we're the bad guys and they're just misunderstood. It's all about denigrating good and elevating evil.

    Chopra is human filth.
  • Kenny · 1 year ago
I was about to use Dino for an example then decided not to, til he posted the following:
If you support the things America does with it's military might then by extension you support what happened in Mumbai.
So our resident idiot seeks to excuse the slaughter of innocent civilians because we have high tech stuff and fight declared wars against declared enemies.

    Denigrates good. Elevates evil.

Go play in traffic. Preferably during rush hour.

Hey Robbie, good to see you followed my link to the reason why you're a brainstem!

Hey Kenny, put "injured Iraqi child" in your browser and seach for images. See what the American military has done to innocent children there.

I have less sympathy for a rich capitalist in a luxury Indian hotel than I do for those kids. You should too.

Your outrage at my position is totally negated by your acceptance of what we've done to others.
Hey Robbie, good to see you followed my link to the reason why you're a brainstem!
I had spotted you as a "reptile brain" from your first comment. I don't need "links" to know what I have known for decades. Unlike you, I have higher cortical function.
See what the American military has done to innocent children there.
Dick in Nether Orifice,

My best friend is a Marine pastor in Iraq. He coordinates the efforts where the soldiers gather things from packages that they receive and use them to help Iraqi children.

They give them books, clothes, candy, food of all kinds, hats, gloves, socks, etc...

    The kids all love them.

Some of the parents were ambivalent at first, but they have come to trust and love the soldiers.

My friend has been there about 4 months and has 8 to go. He asks us to send things in kids sizes so that they have more of a selection.

You have made yourself an idiot on this blog in so many ways, but this is the worst.

You wouldn't know someone doing good for others if they came up and bit you in your dick poked ass.

You have no idea what it is to be an appreciative American.

Appreciative for the people who have given their lives and limbs for your freedom to expel your brand of crap on this site.

You don't realize that if you were living in a Muslim country you would be first to lose your head for being a homo.

Just like I'manutjob said when he was welcomed to New York by your ilk.

"We do not have a Homosexual problem in Iran."

Do you know why that is, you idiot??????

    Because they kill them all.

You are so stupid, you can't even get that through your thick skull.

Good for you that we took out Saddam and his evil spawn.

They would have loved to have had you and your boyfriend for a pets while they tortured and killed you.

If you really knew anything you would be dangerous.
  • Dino · 1 year ago
That pastor should be ashamed of himself for the things his country is doing in his name.

Giving the kids toys and clothes is the least we could do for destroying their country. But I'm not sure the tens of thousands of dead civilians have much use for gifts. But hey, tell your friend thanks!

Reading your post brings to mind Osama bin Laden's people sending toys to the kids of those killed on 9/11. Same thing.

Oh, and save the constant outrage at what I post. There's MILLIONS who feel this way and I would guess your Pres does too.

It sets the stage for your idiocy because you can't see past your perverted view of life and our country.
That pastor should be ashamed of himself for the things his country is doing in his name.
My friend is immensely proud of what our country has done and is doing in Iraq.

We have rid it of a dictator who killed thousands of people, many his own countrymen, and attacked two countries, Iran and Kuwait, without provocation. He also was the #1 financial supporter of the Islamic fascists around the world.

The people in Iraq know what we have done to help them, and will be an ally of the U.S. for a long time to come.
PS. The attitude of fundamentalist muslims towards homos is not much different from yours or that of other conservative Americans.
Well, you've got that partially right.

Because there's no "acceptance of what we've done to others".

You're just a piece of human filth who uses agitprop to defend terrorists while demonizing the US.

You want perspective of what we've done to children? Here's what was being done to children BEFORE WE ARRIVED in Iraq:

    http://www.indict.org.uk/witnessdetails.php?tar...
The prisoners were screaming. I remember one of them was only about twelve years old. I remember QUSAY shouting something like "Put this bastard in - he's a member of the [X] family'...The little boy was screaming. He was already bleeding from previous beatings. QUSAY killed him along with all the others...The little boy screamed out "I am sorry, I don't want to die, I want my father." QUSAY said, "Your father is in the cell next door", which was true. QUSAY then proceeded to spray him with gas and he died after about ten minutes of agony.
Not that you care. You don't give a damn about the Iraqis, or the Indians, or anyone else. You're a jackass.

Were those accounts of torture like the ones created by Hill & Knowlton dealing with supposed "bayoneting of babies in incubators" in Kuwait? the ones designed to sell the first Iraq war to stupid Americans?

I have no doubt there were atrocities ocurring but replacing them with wholesale destruction still isn't right. And really, let's be honest here. There are atrocities happening all over the world. Neither those nor the ones you say were happening in Iraq caused you any concern until you needed to justify our invasion once the WMD thing fell through. (But we still have high hopes for finding them in underground tunnel between Iraq and Syria, eight fellas? LOL)

But I am very deeply moved by your sudden compassion for your fellow man despite your protestations about helping people in your own country, namely poor women and children, afford food and shelter. You know, all that talk about hating "welfare" and how 99% of the tax you pay goes to lazy liberals who won't work. Detect any sarcasm there?

I personally don't believe the Berg thing was real. I believe it to be an illusion manfactured by the US military. Berg, was a bad thing but that happens in war time, just like the blowing up of women and children you seem to ignore. I believe you people call it collateral damage as you shrug your shoulders and congatulate yourselves on your "victory" in Iraq. Speaking of, didn't a bomb go off in the green zone today? Sounds like you might want to postpone moving to Iraq to escape the Obamanation for a while.

So do you all advocate genocide? Just kill the millions of people in the Middle East who resent the many military bases we're building all over their region? Would that make you feel safe? I doubt it. Conservatives never feel safe.

Oh, and Rodney? Dude, you MUST get a hobby so you can stop obsessing over my sexuality. I'm sure it's starting to creep out the other fellas too.
