Say Anything: Call Me A Cynical Jerk...

Well, his campaign was offended at the notion of Obama being associated with white women. Maybe he'd rather associate with white men?

The Dems seem to want the Presidency so bad that they aren't willing to wait until elected to get the benefits...

I think your pretty much on target with the Obama camp strategy, but I think its futile. I personally dont believe Obama has a chance at all. In my opinion, Hillary's new "moderate democrat" face will pay off for her.
He's a black candidate. Their are dangerous racist bigots out there.
With all the deaths surrounding Clinton politics, I dont think red necks are his biggest threat.
"You should elect me because it'd be historic to have a black President" angle is going to be played to the max.....
Probably....... but Hillary has that angle also.

Considering all the mysterious deaths surrounding the Clintons if I were Obama I would want protection also.

Why would anyone be offended at this Guy?

He is the biggest nothing since John Edwards.

I think Obama has a better chance than Hillary. The fake moderate Hillary or not. Obama has the charisma that Hillary lacks. Plus he has a better speaking voice AND he is likable. That is more than Hillary has to offer.

    ZZ,

Obama's charisma and his public speaking skills are all the more impressive considering how often he is challenged by the presence of his own foot in his mouth. Must be tough to speak so clearly and distinctly while doing so around a size 12 Gucci loafer.

Still, dulcet tones aside, it wouldn't hurt for the man to something interesting or pertinent every so often.

He gets away with foot in mouth disease more than some of the others. Don't you think? I think he is as liberal, IF not MORE so than Hillary or any of the rest. Hillary is using the Clinton lie technique.

Only if you let me wear the viking horns this time!

Dude! He is running against Hillary. Maybe it's just for show but he is running AGAINST HILLARY. Not to yell but you've seen the picture of her greeting a friend on yahoo recently.

    ZZ,

Except for Joe Biden, every other Democrat candidate is stumbling all over themselves to move to the left in order to placate the Soros/DU/MoveOn wing of the party, which pretty much controls the nomination process. Biden, of course, is just stumbling... period.

By positioning herself as a "centrist" and a "moderate" Hillary would be the one Democrat candidate who would not have the credibility problem trying to move back sharply to the right after being nominated.

(The truth, of course, is that she is at least as liberal in her political outlook and philosophy as any of the other Dem candidates, but campaign, particularly on the Left, are about appearances, not reality.)

A more interesting question at this point is who she would choose as a running mate if she gets the nomination. The odds-on bet was Tennessee's Ford... til he lost his Senate bid. My bet is Governor Bill Richardson, a choice similar to George W. Bush's choice of Dick Cheney. Mrs. Clinton has a sizable list of things going against her, but stupid isn't one of them.

Bat One...Is it just me? OR doesn't everyone know what a BIG Socialist commie she is? I thought she was very candid when she said she wanted to "TAKE" profits from the oil companies... I also thought she was nothing less than transparent when she tried to shirk her vote off FOR the war in Iraq. Hillary is SO far from moderate. Surely she isn't fooling anyone??? The Dems aren't that dumb, are they? Her stance on abortion is rather wishy washy too. BUT in reality she is anti-life all the way! She is stuck in that 60's time warp like so many of the Dem. Congress...
