Say Anything: Byron Dorgan Removes Nearly All Mention Of Iraq From His Website

It's the same game all Dems who voted for the war and were hawkish in the 90's and early 2000's when it was popular to be anti-Saddam.

    Politics over country every time.

Of course you knew this already...

Typical: Take a stand on an issue when it doesn't count.

Although, if you do a search, you'll see there's a bit more Iraq on his site than you would immediately glean.

Now that I look more, a lot of the Iraq mentions are in the nature of "Look how much we're spending on Iraq. We should spend on X instead!" Blah, blah, blah.

Of course you could fill the archives with quotes and articles from leftist politicians denouncing Hussein and his weapons, and how something ought to be done about that madman on the loose. But, as usual, it's all talk and no action for those on the left. Sit around and talk about what a hardass you are, and then when the rubber meets the road you bail out and/or start poisoning the well. Props to them for voting for action, shame on them for being a bunch of pussies unwilling to stick with it.

Rob: Is there any chance that North Dakotans can throw Dorgan out of office the next time he's up for re-election? The liberal democrats in congress who enthusiastically supported President Bush on Iraq, and then STABBED HIM IN THE BACK deserve to be taken down. They have put party interests above the nation's interests... despicable!!

In my opinion Dorgan's not going to get beat. For some reason the voters of the state feel they owe him or something.

They don't seem to give a darn what he does when he's in Washington. He comes back, lies about what he's doing and gets reelected.

A new book shows Saddam did support al Qaeda and the Taliban:

'Both In One Trench: Saddam's Secret Terror Documents'

I like the book, but a spambot all the same.
